…. More News:

Before every morning service there will be a time set aside for prayer commencing at 10.30am in the room at the back of the church. No single person will lead prayer; it is an opportunity for people to come and go as they wish. This prayer session is an important part of our commitment to God and the church  family. People can pray silently or aloud.

Our final service together will be held at 2.30pm on Saturday 28th March 2020. There will be a short service of thanksgiving for the life and witness of the church over the years and this will be followed by refreshments and a time to fellowship together. The service will be led by Fred and the message will be brought by Rev. Julian Templeton, the Minister at St. Johns URC Mowbray Road who is the current Chair of the North London Group of URC churches. Please see this as an opportunity to invite friends, family and those known to you who have had some connection with our church over time.

Be blessed in all you do this week.

Jeremy & the CC@W leadership team

The final resolutions in respect of the church closure and minutes of the last Church Meeting will be circulated to all Church members as soon as the Synod has finalised the exact wordings.

The Church building will remain open until the end of July for those organisations who hire our premises, after which the church will be handed back to the URC.

Please pray for Fred, Jean, Andrew and Jeremy as they manage this process. There is much to do before the end of July!
