Jean reminded everyone that there is a Wednesday Home Group at 10.30am on the first and 3rd Wednesday of each month.

Please pray for Jenny Yohannes who has been in hospital, but is now at home and also Stella who is making slow progress but is still not comfortable enough to stand and walk. Also Iris who is bound to her home caring for Tony.

Night Shelter for Homeless People

The Night Shelter for homeless people will run on Friday evenings/Saturday mornings from Fri. 27th of October to Saturday 13th January excluding Christmas.   Training for volunteers is very important so please make sure you attend the training session if possible. Check with Jeremy if you need transport  to training.

The church heating system will be renewed on the week of Monday 23rd October and should be finished by the 26th.  Hopefully this will ensure the heating is much better for the future.

Jeremy runs the Venice Marathon on 22nd October!

He and a friend are running the marathon to fund raise for ‘Together in Barnet’ the partnership of churches and synagogues which runs the Night Shelter for homeless people. You can donate by going to his Just Giving page: justgiving.com/fundraising/jeremy-alford1

It would be a great encouragement to sponsor him in some small way!
